England vs India 5th Test: Ravindra Jadeja has shown incredible consistency in the ongoing Test series between India and England and produced another impactful effort in the fifth Test at the Oval on Saturday.
Jadeja smashed a crucial fifty in the second innings, the fifth for him in the series to help India extend their lead in the second innings. This was his sixth fifty-plus score in the series. The star all-rounder entered record books as he became the first batter to do so in a Test series between India and England.

With that, he also crossed the 500-run mark in the series and became India’s third-highest run-getter, after Captain Shubman Gill ( 754) and KL Rahul (532).

The veteran is also now the first Indian batter to score over 500 runs in a Test series while batting at No.6 or lower. Jadeja went past the legendary Sir Garfield Sobers' effort of five fifties in 1966.
