It is the biggest win margin in terms of balls remaining in the Men's T20 World Cup history, going past Sri Lanka's previous record of a win with 90 balls remaining against the Netherlands in 2014 when they chased down the target of 40 in five overs.

Their net run rate took a massive boost, reaching +3.08 from -1.800 which is better than Scotland's +2.164 who will be up against Australia in their next match.

Notably, England's first match against Scotland was washed out due to rain before they lost their second against Australia by 36 runs.
