ENG vs SL Dream11 Prediction: England will lock horns against Sri Lanka in their fifth match of the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Thursday.
Jos Buttler-led defending champions have struggled in the showpiece tournament with three defeats in four matches. England lost against New Zealand, Afghanistan and South Africa while their only win came against Bangladesh.
England are in a tricky situation to make their way to the semi-final. Three Lions have to win all their remaining matches to remain in contention for the top-four finish.
On the other hand, Sri Lanka also face a similar situation alike England as they are placed at the eighth spot, just one place above England due to a better net run rate. Sri Lanka's only win came against Netherlands in their last match after three consecutive defeats against South Africa, Pakistan and Australia respectively.
