IPL 2025: The IPL 2025 is all set to start on March 22, when reigning champions Kolkata Knight Riders will lock horns with Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Eden Gardens. Before the upcoming season, there are a few players who have made themselves unavailable for the tournament, owing to either injuries or personal reasons.
Let's take a look at the list of the players who won't be seen in action in IPL 2025:
1. HARRY BROOK (DELHI CAPITALS)
England's star batter Harry Brook had pulled out from the upcoming season owing to national duties. He would be facing a two-year ban from the IPL as the BCCI had made the rule, which would ban a player from participating in this tournament for two seasons if they are unavailable except due to injury. Delhi Capitals bought him for a whopping amount of Rs 6.5 crore at the mega auction last year despite him missing the last season.

2. BRYDON CARSE (SUNRISERS HYDERABAD)
He was ruled out from IPL 2025 as he had suffered a toe injury in the high-octane ICC Champions Trophy 2025 clash against arch-nemesis Australia. Sunrisers Hyderabad bought the all-rounder for a whopping amount of Rs 1 crore during the mega auction last year but he won't be available for this season. South Africa's Wiaan Mulder would be replacing him as he was bought by the franchise for Rs 75 lakhs.

3. LIZAAD WILLIAMS (MUMBAI INDIANS)
This Protea pacer also has been ruled out from IPL 2025 owing to an injury. Mumbai Indians bought him for Rs 75 lakhs during the mega auction and has been replaced by his fellow teammate Corbin Bosch, who earlier used to be a net bowler for Rajasthan Royals.

4. ALLAH GHAZANFAR (MUMBAI INDIANS)
Afghanistan's star leg-spinner has been ruled out from the upcoming season as he suffered an injury before the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians bought him for a whopping amount of Rs 4.80 crore during the mega auction last year as his fellow teammate Mujeeb-Ur-Rehman would be replacing him and was bought by the franchise for Rs 2 crore. Mujeeb has played in 19 IPL matches till now from 2018 to 2021 and has played for teams like Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
