IND vs AUS: India's star batter Rohit Sharma is currently gearing up for the three-match ODI series against Australia. The former India skipper was recently seen attending a practice session at Shivaji Park in Mumbai, which led to a crazy fanfare.

Abhishek Nayar, who is the former Indian batting coach, requested the fans to control themselves and not push Rohit. But the former India skipper was really happy to grant a wish to a young fan, who the security stopped.

A video had gone viral, where Rohit was seen getting furious at the security guard for forcefully stopping the kid from coming near him. The veteran Indian batter got angry and gave the guard a mouthful.

Rohit was also felicitated at a cricket award show recently for leading the team to the Champions Trophy win earlier this year.

“Look, I love that team, loved playing with them, and it’s a journey that we were all into for many years. It’s not about one or two years of work. It was about getting into work after many years. We’d come so close to winning that trophy many times, but we couldn’t just get over the line. That is where everyone decided that we need to do something different, and there are two ways to look at it." There’s always a thought of doing that and then actually going and doing that. One or two players cannot do it. We needed everyone to buy into that thought, which was good for everyone," Rohit was heard as saying at the award show.
