India vs Pakistan, ICC T20 World Cup 2026: Ishan Kishan was the standout performer for India against Pakistan in the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 match 27 at the R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday, February 15. While the other batters struggled in the tricky Colombo pitch, Kishan looked in a different touch altogether.
Kishan smashed an outstanding fifty, smashing the Pakistani bowlers all around the park right from the start despite Abhishek Sharma's early dismissal for 0. He went on to play a fiery knock of 77 runs in just 40 balls on the back of 10 fours and three sixes to help India reach a challenging total of 175/7 in their 20 overs. He achieved multiple milestones during his stay at the crease.

This was Kishan's second fifty in the ongoing tournament, as he continued his outstanding form on his return to the side after a couple of years. He had played a 61-run knock in 24 balls in the previous game against Namibia. Apart from Kishan, skipper Suryakumar Yadav (32) and Tilak Varma (25) also came up with the crucial efforts.
For Pakistan, Saim Ayub was the pick of the bowlers, as he took three wickets for 25 runs in his four overs, whereas Salman Agha, Shaheen Afridi, and Usman Tariq found a scalp each.
