ICC U19 Men's World Cup 2024 Schedule: Defending champions India will start their campaign against Bangladesh on January 20 in Bloemfontein, South Africa as ICC announces the schedule for the tournament on Monday.

The schedule has been revised as the event was shifted from Sri Lanka to South Africa after ICC suspended Sri Lanka Cricket's membership due to government interference.

The tournament will begin on January 19 with a match between South Africa and West Indies in Potchefstroom. A total of 41 matches will be played across five venues - Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein, Buffalo Park in East London, Kimberley Oval in Kimberley, JB Marks Oval in Potchefstroom and Willowmoore Park in Benoni – the venue selected to host the Semi-Finals on February 6 and 8 & the Final on February 11.

India are in Group A with Bangladesh, Ireland, and the United States. Following their encounter against Bangladesh, India will face Ireland on January 25 in Bloemfontein, followed by a match against the United States on January 28 at the same site.

Group B consists of England, South Africa, West Indies and Scotland. Group C features Australia, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and Namibia while Group D is made up of Afghanistan, Pakistan, New Zealand and Nepal.

The event will welcome a new format for this edition, where teams progressing from the group stages will enter a new Super Six stage, starting January 30, where two groups of six teams will clash to determine the Semi-Finalists and the subsequent Finalists.
