ICC Women's World Cup 2025 Points Table: England women defeated Sri Lanka women by 89 runs in the match 12 of the ICC Women's World Cup 2025 at the R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Saturday, October 11. This is England's third win in the tournament.
England is the only team to have won all of their matches so far as they jumped to the top spot in the ICC Women's World Cup 2025 points table with six points under their belt. Australia, who will next face India on Sunday slipped down to the second spot as they have 5 points after two wins in three matches.

The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side will be aiming to return to winning ways, but they are placed third at the moment with two wins and four points. Talking about Sri Lanka, they are yet to register a win in the tournament and stand seventh in the standings.
Talking about today's match, England were put into bat first and posted a challenging total of 253/9 in their 50 overs on the back of an incredible century from Nat Sciver-Brunt. She played a memorable knock of 117 runs in as many balls on the back of nine fours and two sixes.

Sri Lanka produced a disappointing effort with the bat as they were bowled out for 164 runs in 45.4 overs. Sophie Ecclestone was the pick of the bowlers for the English team as she finished with the four wickets to her name for just 17 runs in 10 overs.
