India vs Afghanistan 3rd T20I: Indian captain Rohit Sharma was seen getting involved in a heated exchange with Afghanistan's senior all-rounder Mohammad Nabi during the third T20I in Bengaluru.
India defeated Afghanistan in the Super Over in the third and final T20I match at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium to complete a 3-0 whitewash on Wednesday, January 17.
While the match witnessed several dramatic moments, Rohit and Nabi were seen having a heated discussion after Afghanistan's innings in the first Super Over.

It is to be noted that the winner of the match was forced to be decided on Super Over after Afghanistan leveled India's score of 212 in their 20 overs.
Afghanistan batted first in the first Super Over and set the target, as Gulbadin Naib and veteran Mohammad Nabi took to the crease to face off India’s Mukesh Kumar.
The Super Over started with Naib getting run out of the first ball, forcing Afghanistan to send out Gurbaz, who slashed a four and gave the strike to Nabi, who smacked another maximum to notch up 13 runs in 5 balls for Afghanistan.

With one ball left, Mukesh bowled a promising yorker to the offside to bamboozle Nabi, who made a run for it.
Sanju Samson attempted to run him out as he threw the ball away from the other end, which got deflected off Nabi’s pads and ran down the ground.
The instance allowed the Afghan batters to continue running as Nabi and Gurbaz ended up snatching three runs off the last ball, leaving Indian skipper Rohit Sharma furious.

Rohit walked up to the umpire, livid, and argued that the ball was deflected off his pads and Nabi should not have run for the extra 2 runs in the end.
Rohit’s frustrations did not just end there as he then took to Nabi and exchanged a few words in what can only be termed a heated exchange.
However, there was nothing wrong with Nabi running off the deflection, and as per the rules, the three runs stood, helping Afghanistan set a target of 17 runs for India.
In the end, it would not matter for Rohit who took his revenge with the bat, notching up 22 runs over the two Super Overs and leading his Indian side to a historic victory.
