In a spectacular display of power-hitting, Shivam Dube and Yashasvi Jaiswal propelled India to a commanding six-wicket victory against Afghanistan in the second T20I. Chasing a target of 173 runs, India made short work of the challenge, completing the chase with 26 balls to spare and taking an unassailable lead in the three-match series.
Yashasvi Jaiswal played a blistering innings, hammering 68 off 34 balls, including six sixes, before getting out. Shivam Dube remained unbeaten with a scintillating 63 off 32 balls, featuring four maximums. The duo's brutal assault left Afghanistan's bowlers struggling to contain the onslaught.
Earlier in the match, Gulbadin Naib's aggressive knock of 57 runs off 35 balls, supported by contributions from Mujeeb Ur Rahman (21 off 9 balls) and Karim Janat (20 off 10), lifted Afghanistan to a total of 172 all out.
