India vs Australia, World Cup 2023 Final: India are set to be up against the five-time champions Australia in the final of the ODI World Cup 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, November 19.
India defeated New Zealand by 70 runs in the first semi-final to make it to their fourth final whereas Australia got the better of South Africa, beating them by three wickets to qualify for their record-eighth final.
As both teams prepare for the high-voltage title clash in Ahmedabad, Australia's star all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has been trending on social media from the moment his team made it to the final.

While Australia eye their sixth title, Marsh’s old statement has taken the internet by storm.
Marsh, who plays for Delhi Capitals in IPL, had made a bold prediction for the ODI World Cup 2023 where he said that Australia will lift the trophy for the record 6th time by beating the hosts India in the final
"Australia undefeated; defeating India. Australia 450/2 in the final, India all-out 65," Marsh had said in the podcast when asked about his predictions for the World Cup final.
Marsh's statement received so much attention when he made it during the IPL 2023 as the prediction went on to prove correct at an instance with both India and Australia making it to the final.
Meanwhile, things have been quite the opposite in the ongoing tournament as India have been the most dominant side, having won all 10 of their 10 matches so far as they aim to end the long and frustrating drought of an ICC trophy.
India last won the World Cup in 2011 at home and clinched their last ICC title in 2013 when they defeated England in their own backyard to win the Champions Trophy.
The Men in Blue will be aiming to lift their third WC title and go undefeated throughout the tournament.
Notably, India defeated Australia in their first match of the tournament by six wickets at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
