Shah highlighted that the peak TV concurrency reached a historic high of 13 crore during the final clash between India and Australia.

In a post on social media platform X, Shah expressed gratitude for the overwhelming love and passion Indian fans have for the sport. Disney+ Hotstar, the digital streaming platform, also broke the peak concurrency record during the tournament, reaching a massive 5.9 crore peak concurrent viewers during the finals.
