IND vs PAK, Asia Cup 2025: Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan proved his prowess with a brilliant half-century to give his side a brilliant start in the Asia Cup 2025 Super Four clash encounter on Sunday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Farhan, who slammed three sixes and five fours in his knock. Notably, he got to his fifty with a six over long-on which was a testimony of his aggressive intent up the order.

Interestingly, he brought his fifty against Axar Patel as he celebrated with a 'gunshot' celebration with his bat. His celebration got viral as soon as it surfaced on social media.

Pakistan reach 171 for 5 after 20 overs

Courtesy of this knock and late strikes from Mohammed Nawaz, Salman Agha and Faheem Ashraf powered Pakistan to 171/5 after 20 overs.

Farhan's performance was a pleasant surprise for Pakistan fans as his innings was completely different from what he put up in the previous match against India, where he managed to score 40 off 44 balls

This marks the second match in the current Asia Cup 2025 featuring India and Pakistan. The two long-standing rivals faced each other in the group stage, with India securing a commanding victory.

India opt to bowl

Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and elected to field first against Pakistan in their Asia Cup Super Clash in Dubai on Sunday.

With so much having happened off the field following the 'handshake row' that took place after the match, this match has the makings of an intense battle.
