India vs South Africa ODI: India speedster Arshdeep Singh, known for his witty humour and being one of the funniest characters in the team, addressed the curiosity about Rohit Sharma's animated reaction to Virat Kohli's century in the opening ODI against South Africa.
During the first ODI of the three-match series, Rohit was seen quite enlivened in celebrating Kohli’s century as he clapped intensely and seemed to let out a couple of Hindi curses, with Arshdeep laughing beside him.
In a video shared on Snapchat, which was also shared by his IPL franchise, Punjab Kings, Arshdeep addressed the funny elephant in the room on popular demand. The pacer went on to narrate the line of the famous Indian meme, ‘mujhe Nadia pasand hai’.
"Mujhe bahot message ke Rohit bhai ne Virat bhai ki century pe kya bola. Mai batata hu unhone bola ke ‘Neeli pari, laal pari, kamre mey band, mujhe Nadia pasand…" (I am getting a lot of messages asking what Rohit bhai said about Virat bhai’s century. I’ll tell you he said ‘Blue fairy, red fairy, locked in a room, I like Nadia…)" Arshdeep said.
Rohit's reaction to Virat Kohli's 52nd century displayed the heartwarming and uplifting camaraderie between the two batting giants. In a viral video, Rohit, watching from the dressing room, was seen smiling and clapping in celebration of his teammate's achievement. In the video, he was seen mumuring something and this made fans curious to know what the former skipper was saying.

Since the duo announced retirement from the Tests and T20Is, talks about their future with the Indian team have intensified and several cricket pundits and fans have raised questions about whether the duo can participate in the 2027 World Cup.
A report circulating in the media claimed that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) officials are set to hold a meeting with head coach Gautam Gambhir and chairman of selectors Ajit Agarkar to decide the future of the two legends.
