In the third and final T20I against South Africa in Johannesburg, Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav added another milestone to his impressive T20I career by smashing his fourth T20I century. This achievement places him in the esteemed company of Rohit Sharma and Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell, who also share the record for the most T20I hundreds.
Suryakumar Yadav's century came off just 55 balls, showcasing his ability to convert fifties into hundreds at a remarkable pace. Notably, he achieved this feat in 57 innings, faster than both Rohit Sharma (140 innings) and Glenn Maxwell (92 innings).
While Suryakumar dominated the South African bowlers, hitting a record-equalling ton, he couldn't carry on until the end of the innings, eventually giving a catch to Matthew Breetzke at the edge of the ropes off Lizaad Williams.
