IND vs WI 3rd ODI: West Indies pacer Jayden Seales delivered a stunning three-ball burst to put India under immediate pressure in the third ODI, dismissing Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli in the space of just three deliveries.

Gill, who won the toss and opted to bat first, departed for just one before Kohli followed for a duck.

With two major wickets falling in quick succession, all the onus will now be on Rohit Sharma to stay at the crease and build a good score for India.

Seales Strikes Twice In Three Balls

India began their innings with Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill at the crease, but the West Indies attack quickly found a way through the Indian top order.

Seales first dismissed Gill for just one run, giving West Indies the breakthrough they needed. The Indian captain had opted to bat first, expecting the pitch to become increasingly favourable for batting after the opening overs.

The dismissal brought Virat Kohli to the crease, but the experienced batter could not settle. Seales struck again just three deliveries later, sending Kohli back without troubling the scorers.

India had suddenly lost Gill and Kohli in the space of three balls, handing West Indies significant early momentum.

Kohli Falls For A Duck

Kohli's dismissal was a major blow for India, particularly after Gill had already departed cheaply. The former captain was expected to provide stability at the top, but Seales maintained the pressure and produced another breakthrough.

Kohli walked back for a duck, leaving India needing a strong partnership to prevent the West Indies from taking complete control.

Rohit Faces The Responsibility

With two of India's premier batters back in the dressing room, Rohit Sharma now carries much of the responsibility to anchor the innings. The veteran opener will need to bat deep and guide India's inexperienced middle order through the early pressure.

India had already made three changes for the series finale, with Anshul Kamboj making his ODI debut, while Nitish Kumar Reddy and Mohammed Siraj also returned to the XI.

West Indies, meanwhile, brought in Jewel Andrew, Matthew Forde and Gudakesh Motie for the decider.

India will hope Rohit can settle down and produce the substantial innings required to put the hosts back in control.
