IND-A vs SA-A 2nd Unofficial Test: South Africa A gave the Indian Test bowlers a hard time as they chased the mammoth target of 417 runs on the fourth day of the second unofficial Test. The visitors on the back of Jordan Hermann (91), Lesego Senokwane (77), and Zubayr Hamza (77) left the Indian bowlers stunned.
The Indian bowlers like Mohammed Siraj (1/53), Akash Deep (1/106), Kuldeep Yadav (0/81), and Prasidh Krishna (2/49) succumbed under pressure as the batters took advantage of batter-friendly pitches.
South Africa A had a flying start as openers Hermann and Senokwane stitched a partnership of 156 runs for the first wicket. Prasidh Krishna gave the host the much-needed wicket as he took the wicket, and then Harsh Dubey dismissed Senokwane by lbw.

After the dismissal of both the openers, Zubayr Hamza and Temba Bavuma helped the team bounce back and left the Indian bowlers clueless by building a 107-run partnership for the third wicket. On the verge of losing the game, skipper Rishabh Pant went back to Prasidh Krishna, who dismissed Hamza with a peachy delivery.
The host did bounce back for a while when Mohammed Siraj dismissed Marques Ackerman, and then Akash Deep took the wicket of Temba Bavuma, who had scored 59 and had left the visitors tottering at 352/5.

But wicket-keeper batter Connor Esterhuizen (52* off 53) scored a gritty knock along with Tiaan van Vuuren and helped the team win the match. They chased the target in 98 overs with three overs remaining.

Akash Deep (1/106 in 22 overs) and Kuldeep Yadav (0/81 in 17 overs) failed to fire with the ball in the second innings as they leaked runs at an economy rate of 4.80. Harsh Dubey was also seen struggling as he gave away runs at 4.40 per over.
Skipper Marques Ackerman was adjudged Player of the match award for his brilliant knock of 134 runs off 118 balls. At the same time, South Africa's huge win has sent a stern warning to the Shubman Gill-led side for the upcoming Test series, which will start from next week.
