IND-W vs SA-W Women's World Cup 2025 Final: Kranti Gaud had the most successful performance in the recently concluded mega event. She was selected owing to her brilliant fast bowling skills and had begun playing international cricket just a few months before the World Cup. Gaud had said that her biggest wish is to help her father get justice, as he is an ex-police officer of Chhatarpur, who was wrongly terminated from his position way back in 2012.
When the pacer returned to her hometown in Madhya Pradesh and was felicitated by Dr Mohan Yadav, she revealed that she wanted to see her father rejoin the force and get his respect back, as she had told the Times of India.
In the ceremony held in Bhopal, Dr Yadav talked about the situation and said, “Kranti has made the entire country proud. It is only right that her father’s dignity is also restored.”

Munna Singh Yadav, Kranti's father, was forcefully dismissed in 2012, and that made her family go through some difficult times. “There were days when we could not even afford a single meal,” she said.
Gaud led the line for India in the World Cup
She had taken nine wickets after playing in eight matches of the mega event and registered her best career performance against Pakistan as she ended with figures of 3/20. She had also taken two wickets against New Zealand, but her most memorable wicket was in the semifinal.
She had taken the wicket of Alyssa Healy and made sure that she didn't score big. Gaud's efforts had scripted history as Dr. Yadav, who will be felicitated again on November 15 in Jabalpur to mark the occasion of Tribal Pride Day.
