Alyssa Healy was the highest run-scorer as she had scored 27 runs, whereas Anika Learoyd and Madeline Penna also made significant contributions. Towards the fag end of the first innings, Siannna Ginger's quick-fire knock of 17 runs off seven balls helped the host post this target.

While chasing a target of 145 runs, the visitors suffered a batting collapse as opener Dinesh Vrinda was dismissed due to a runout after scoring just four runs. Shafali Varma helped the team bounce back by scoring a gritty knock of 41 runs off 25 balls, in which she had smashed six fours and one six. Raghavi Bisht and Minnu Mani also scored a gritty knock, but they kept losing wickets at regular intervals.
Ginger then dominated the innings with her bowling prowess as she registered match-winning figures of 4/16 and also dismissed batters like Varma, Bist, Radha Yadav, and Sajana. Amy Edgar and Lucy Hamilton took one wicket apiece.
The visitors' late surge wasn't enough as they could score just 140 runs, and thus helped the host clinch the series. Healy, who made a comeback to the national side after a long injury layoff, was the highest run-getter of the series as she had scored 124 runs at a staggering average of 41.33.
The focus will now shift to a three-match one-day series, which will begin next week in Brisbane.
