Pakistan A beat India A, Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025: Pakistan Shaheens defeated India A by 8 wickets in match 6 of the ongoing ACC Men's Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha on Sunday. On the back of wins in their first two group B matches, Pakistan have made it to the semifinals.

They produced an all-round effort before Mohammad Faiq finished things off in style, having smashed a remarkable six against Naman Dhir before celebrations began in Pakistan's dugout. They had defeated Oman in their first match of the tournament.

Maaz Sadaqat was the star performer for the Men in Green as he played a memorable knock of unbeaten 79 runs in 47 balls on the back of seven fours and four sixes. Pakistan Shaheens chased down the 137-run target in just 13.2 overs as India suffered their first defeat in the tournament. Apart from Sadaqat, Mohammad Faiq played a fiery cameo of 16 runs in just 14 balls, hitting one four and a six. The duo stitched a match-winning partnership of 43 runs in just 23 balls for the third wicket.

For India, Yash Thakur and Suyash Sharma took one wicket each. Earlier, India A were bowled out for just 136 runs in 19 overs after being put into bat first. Vaibhav Suryavanshi was the top run-getter for the Men in Blue as he got a promising start but couldn't convert it into a big one. He was dismissed for 45 runs in 28 balls, hitting five fours and three sixes.

The 14-year-old headed into the game on the back of a sensational batting effort in the opening match against the UAE. However, he was troubled at times by the variations produced by the Pakistani bowlers.

For Pakistan, Shahid Aziz was the pick of the bowlers with three wickets under his belt for 24 runs in his three overs. On the other hand, Saad Masood and Maaz Sadaqat found a couple of scalps each. For his all-round effort, Sadaqat was adjudged the Player of the Match.

Pakistan will face the UAE in their next match on Tuesday, whereas India will be aiming to return to winning ways when they face Oman in their upcoming fixture in Doha.
