IND-A vs AUS-A 1st Unofficial ODI: The first unofficial ODI between India A and Australia on Tuesday has been called off due to incessant rain without a single ball being bowled. The Green Park stadium in Kanpur was scrutinised in India's Test series against Bangladesh last year, where short rain delays resulted in the whole day getting washed out.
The poor drainage system led to 35 overs being available for play on the first 3 days.
On Tuesday, a similar situation occurred as incessant rain didn't allow the match to be played.

Since both teams had left the venue much before the announcement was made, which revealed the result of this match, when it began raining 20 minutes before the toss.
With this match getting abandoned, it also brought an end to star batter Priyansh Arya and fast bowler Simranjeet Singh's stint in the India A team. They will be replaced by players like Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Varma, Arshdeep Singh, and Harshit Rana.
The result of this match was a disappointment for the fans as well, who wanted to watch the List-A match for the first time after 2017. A few fans waited longer at the stadium than both teams and watched their hopes of watching this match being quashed.
The second unofficial ODI will be held on Friday.
