IND vs WI Test Series: India will lock horns with West Indies for a two-match Test series. The first Test match will be held at Narendra Modi Stadium from Thursday, October 2, and the second Test match will be held in Delhi. Shubman Gill will be leading the team from the front, whereas Ravindra Jadeja will be the vice-captain, and the West Indies will be playing under the captaincy of Roston Chase.

The visitors have had two huge blows before this Test series. Fast bowlers Shamar Joseph and Alzarri Joseph have pulled out owing to injuries. Jayden Seales, who has taken 88 wickets after playing in 21 Tests till now, will be spearheading their bowling attack.

The Men in Blue began their 2025-27 WTC cycle after playing a five-match Test series against England, which ended in a 2-2 tie, and the West Indies lost to Australia by 3-0 in their backyard.

The visitors will try to bounce back and perform well against India in this two-match Test series and score their first WTC points.
