India have fielded an unchanged lineup with Sanju Samson continuing to remain out. Kuldeep Yadav is also not playing as the Men in Blue decided to go with the winning combination. Arshdeep Singh retained his place after a match-winning effort, whereas Shivam Dube will be looking to make it count after a disappointing last game.

India pulled off the third-highest T20 run chase on Australian soil to get the better of the hosts in the previous match. The visitors chased down the 187-run target in 18.3 overs on the back of Washington Sundar's unbeaten, fiery knock of 49 runs in 23 balls, hitting three fours and four sixes.

"This is what you play bilaterals for, you challenge yourself, and it is a beautiful stadium, everything to play for. The preparation has been good. We had a day off, had a good practice session yesterday, looks like a subcontinent wicket, later on it might get slower, so we are happy to bat first. We were looking to bat first. Looks similar to Indian conditions, put runs on the board, and we want to take up that challenge. We are going with the same team," Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav said at the toss.
On the other hand, Australia came up with four changes, with the senior opener Travis Head and Sean Abbott getting released from the squad in order to prepare for the upcoming Ashes series. Glenn Maxwell has made his return to the side along with the inclusions of Adam Zampa, Josh Philippe and Ben Dwarshuis.
"We are going to bowl first. We don't play a lot here. It is great to be here, and we will try to get as much information about the surface as we can. It is great, a five-match series going down to the last two games, both teams will be pumped. We have four changes - Zampa, Maxwell, Philippe, and Dwarshuis come in for four other guys," Australian skipper Mitchell Marsh said at the toss.
