The Men in Blue defeated Oman by 21 runs in their last group stage match. They locked horns with Pakistan yet again and chased the target of 172 runs in 18.5 overs. If these two teams reach the summit clash, then they will lock horns once again later this week.

As far as Bangladesh is concerned, they had beaten teams like Hong Kong and Afghanistan during their group stage match. They then lost to Sri Lanka. After one week of losing to the same opponent, the Litton Das-led side made a brilliant comeback and defeated Sri Lanka in their Super 4 stage match.
