IND vs OMA Asia Cup 2025: India's star all-rounder Hardik Pandya was seen getting involved in an interaction with a support staff member while standing near the boundary lines, and a few minutes later, he took a brilliant catch and helped the team take Aamir Kaleem's wicket during the last group stage match against Oman on Friday. Aamir had scored a gritty knock of 64 runs.

Pandya took an important catch and helped the team dismiss Kaleem, who was looking in good touch as he had scored a gritty half-century. During the 18th over, Oman was on the verge of creating an upset, and Aamir tried to hit Harshit Rana towards the fine leg, but Hardik, who was standing there, took the catch.

A new video has gone viral on social media, where Harik is seen talking to a support staff member near the boundary line just a few seconds before taking the catch.

Pandya had also bowled the 19th over, where he had given away just six runs and had also taken the wicket of Hammad Mirza.

India clinched a convincing win over Oman.

Hardik, who wanted more time in the middle, ended up getting run out by Jiten Ramanandi, whereas Shubma Gill also fell cheaply after scoring five runs.

Captain Suryakumar Yadav did try to rotate eight bowlers to give them enough match-time, as he was sure that a target of 189 would be huge for Oman.

They made two changes in their playing XI, where Harshit Rana and Arshdeep Singh were seen having a hard time, even though they had played North Zone's Duleep Trophy match this year.

Kuldeep Yadav was again the pick among the Indian bowlers. Arshdeep, who might not play against Pakistan, took his 100th wicket in this format and became the first Indian to do so.

Oman skipper Jatinder Singh, opener Kaleem, and Mirza did score gritty knocks, but their efforts went in vain as they lost the match against India.
