India vs Pakistan, Asia Cup 2025: Indian players once again refused the handshakes with the Pakistani players after defeating them by 6 wickets in the Asia Cup 2025 Super Fours on Sunday.

The Dubai International Cricket Stadium witnessed an incredible dominance with the bat from the Men in Blue, led by young opener Abhishek Sharma, who thrashed the Pakistani bowlers all over the park. India chased down the 172-run target in 18.5 overs to maintain their undefeated streak in the ongoing tournament.

Hardik Pandya and Tilak Varma were at the crease when India hit the winning runs, and the duo immediately walked off the field. The Men in Blue had followed the same ritual after their win over their arch-rivals in the group A clash, as well as a symbolic protest against the Pahalgam Terror Attack.

Earlier at the toss, India captain Suryakumar Yadav too avoided a handshake with Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha.

After the defeat in the previous match against India, Pakistan's skipper Salman Ali Agha had avoided attending the post-match presentation but he came up with a different step this time around. The IND vs PAK match was played amid the ongoing controversy that erupted after their earlier face-off between the PCB and the ICC over the allegations against match referee Andy Pycroft.

With the dominating win on Sunday, India have made it a 7-0 streak over Pakistan over the past few years across formats.

Abhishek was the star performer for the Men in Blue as he smashed a remarkable century and ended up playing a match-winning knock of 74 runs in just 39 balls on the back of six fours and five sixes.

It started with a hooked six by Abhishek off the very first delivery from Shaheen Shah Afridi (0/40 in 3.5 overs) as he picked wrist spinner Abrar Ahmed for special treatment, sending him for four more maximums. Gill, who had a poor first 10 days of the tournament, was finally in his elements and was severe on pacers and spinners alike.

But the lofted drive over extra cover off Afridi would be remembered for a long time.
