India vs Pakistan, Asia Cup 2025: Indian opener Abhishek Sharma and Pakistan's senior pacer Haris Rauf got involved in a heated exchange during their Asia Cup 2025 Super Fours clash at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
Abhishek unleashed incredible fireworks with the bat and provided India a fiery start in the challenging run chase. He stitched a 105-run opening stand with Shubman Gill. The left-handed batter smashed his fifty in just 24 balls.
Haris was brought in by Salman Agha to bowl the fifth over, and he conceded a boundary to Abhishek Sharma towards the third man. Shubman Gill also smashed him for a boundary in the over. After the over, Abhishek Sharma responded with a few verbal volleys to Haris Rauf. The umpires had to intervene and calm things down.

The India vs Pakistan match is being played amid the massive controversy that took place after the conclusion of their earlier face-off. Notably, the Indian players refused the customary handshake with the Pakistani players after defeating them by 7 wickets.
Earlier, Pakistan set a target of 171/5 in their 20 overs after being put into bat first. Sahibzada Farhan got the team off to a flier and brought an impressive half-century. However, once he was out for 58, the Pakistan innings lost momentum. A cameo of 20 in eight balls by Faheem Ashraf helped the team go past the 170-run mark.
For India, Shivam Dube was the pick of the bowlers with two wickets to his name for 33 runs in his four overs, whereas Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav found a scalp each.
With an aim to maintain their winning run in the tournament, India brought back pacer Jasprit Bumrah and spinner Varun Chakravarthy in place of Harshit Rana and Arshdeep Singh from the last match.
