India vs West Indies 1st Test: India reached 326/4 in their first innings in 96 overs on the second day of the first Test against the West Indies at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday.
India have taken a 164-run lead with Dhruv Jurel and Ravindra Jadeja hitting impressive fifties. The duo has stitched a 108-run partnership for the fifth wicket. The hosts scored 108 runs in the second session of the day and lost just one wicket. Jurel remained unbeaten on 68 runs with the help of seven fours and two sixes, with Ravindra Jadeja (50) at the other end.

KL Rahul was the only player to get dismissed as he departed for 100 off Jomel Warrican. This was Rahul's 11th Test century and his second on Indian soil as he continued his incredible form.
Jadeja has taken off from where he left off in England. He has been in remarkable touch with the bat lately, and this was his seventh fifty-plus score in his last nine Test innings.

India, starting the day on 121/2, lost the wicket of skipper Shubman Gill (50) during the opening session, while Rahul was dismissed right after the lunch break.
After opting to bat first, the West Indies were bowled out for 162 on the opening day of the match. Justin Greaves was the top run-getter for the visitors as he came up with a 32-run contribution. For India, Mohammed Siraj was the pick of the bowlers with four wickets, whereas Jasprit Bumrah found three scalps.
