India vs West Indies 1st Test: Ravindra Jadeja smashed a promising fifty for India during the second day of the first Test against the West Indies at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday.

World No. 1 Test all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja hammered 3 fours and 4 sixes. The fourth six of the ongoing match by Jadeja helped him break MS Dhoni’s record of 78 sixes in Tests for India. During his playing days, Dhoni hammered 78 sixes in 90 Tests for India, whereas Jadeja now has 79 sixes to his credit in 86 matches.

Only Virender Sehwag, Rishabh Pant and Rohit Sharma have scored more sixes in the longest format of the game for Team India than Jadeja. During his stellar career, Sehwag hammered 90 sixes in 103 Tests for Team India, and Pant also has smacked 90 maximums in 47 Tests. On the other hand, Rohit finished his Test career with 88 sixes in 67 Test matches.
