AUS U19 vs IND U19 2nd Youth Test: A brilliant bowling performance, spearheaded by Henil and Khilan, helped the visitors bundle the hosts out for 135 runs and are now leading by nine runs during the first innings on day 1 of the second Youth Test. Fast bowler Henil Patel and left-arm spinner Khilan Patel took three wickets apiece and rattled Australia's batting lineup.

Wicketkeeper Alex Lee Young was the highest run-scorer for the host as he had scored 66 off 108 balls, whereas skipper Will Malajczuk and Yash Deshmukh had scored 10 and 22 runs. And the other batters scored in single digits.

The hosts were reeling at 32/5 after 10 overs, and in the first session, Young and Deshmukh helped the team bounce back by building a partnership of 59 runs for the sixth wicket.

After Deshmukh's wicket, the team suffered another batting collapse as Young was the last batter to be dismissed. The host had lost its last five wickets after scoring 44 runs.

Fast bowler Uhav Mohan took two wickets, whereas Deepesh took one.

While chasing, the visitors were 144/7 after 40 overs till stumps, where Henil and Deepesh were out there in the middle.

The Indian batters too had a hard time as they were tottering at 41/3 in seven overs as youngster Vaibhav Suryavanshi got out after scoring just 20 runs.

Suryavanshi, who had smashed a brilliant knock of 113 runs off 86 balls in the first innings, then scored 58 runs and took the team across the line as he had smashed two fours and one six off the 14 balls.

Vedant Trivedi, who also smashed 140 runs in the series opener, had scored 25 runs off 44 balls, in which he had smashed four fours.

Post a short revival of 39 39-run partnership for the 4th wicket between Trivedi and Rahul Kumar as the visitors had lost three wickets after scoring just two runs.

Khilan and Henil Patel had built a partnership of 48 runs for the seventh wicket.

Post taking three wickets during the first session, Khilan had become the highest run-scorer with a knock of 26 off 20 balls.
