After registering a comfortable six-wicket win in the first ODI, Shubman Gill’s Team India will take on England in the second match of the three-game series at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff.

However, fans in India should note that the match will not begin at the usual 3 PM IST. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has revised the start time. The second ODI will now begin at 5:30 PM IST (1:00 PM local time).

Why did the ECB change the timing of the second ODI?

The Daily Jagran understands that the revised timing is due to the venue’s scheduling. Since the match is being played in Cardiff, the start time has been adjusted to suit the local conditions at Sophia Gardens and align with the broadcaster’s schedule.

Will India make changes to the playing XI?

India could be forced into making changes after injury concerns in the first ODI. Captain Shubman Gill and fast bowler Gurnoor Brar both left the field during the match after picking up injuries. The team management is yet to provide an official update on their fitness.
