IND-W vs AUS-W, ICC Women's World Cup 2025: Australia defeated India by 3 wickets in match 13 of the ICC Women's World Cup 2025 at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Sunday, October 12. This was Australia's third win in the tournament.
Australia produced a memorable effort with the bat as they pulled the highest successful run chase in the WODI history. They chased down the 331-run target with an over to spare as Ellyse Perry smashed a remarkable six off Sneh Rana to seal things for her team. This is also the second-highest total while chasing in Women's ODIs, after 369 runs by India against Australia in Delhi last month.

Perry, who was retired hurt midway during Australia's run chase, came out towards the end and took her side over the line on the back of her unbeaten contribution of 47 runs in 52 balls. She smashed five fours and a six. Phoebe Litchfield (40), Ashleigh Gardner (45), Sophie Molineux (18) and Kim Garth (14*) came up with impactful efforts.
Alyssa Healy's historic effort
Aussie skipper Alyssa Healy came up with a historic effort as she smashed a magnificent century to set the tone for the run chase. She ended up playing a sensational knock of 142 runs in just 107 balls, hitting 21 fours and three sixes.

She registered the highest individual score against India in the WODI World Cup history.
For India, Shree Charani was the pick of the bowlers with three wickets for 41 runs, whereas Amanjot Kaur and Deepti Sharma found a couple of scalps each. Earlier, India posted a massive total of 330 runs after being put into bat first as Smriti Mandhana and Pratika Rawal smashed impressive fifties. The duo had stitched a 155-run opening stand. Mandhana played an impressive knock of 80 runs in 66 balls, whereas Pratika scored 75 runs in 96 balls. India are yet to beat Australia in the Women's ODI World Cups.
