IND-W vs AUS-W, ICC Women's World Cup 2025: Jemimah Rodrigues produced a moment of magic on the field during the India vs Australia match in the ongoing ICC Women's World Cup 2025 at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Sunday.

Jemimah took a remarkable catch to send back Beth Mooney during Australia's run chase. The left-handed batter departed for 4 runs, which she scored in 8 balls as Australia went three down. This was Deepti Sharma's first wicket in the match.

The instance took place in the 27th over of Australia's innings when Mooney tried to pierce the gap towards the cover region and played an inside-out shot. However, she didn't get the elevation, and the ball headed towards Jemimah at the extra-cover position. The youngster came up with a full-length dive in the air towards her left side and ended up bagging an incredible catch.

Notably, Mooney arrived at the crease in the 24th over after Ellyse Perry retired hurt due to a hamstring issue. Perry scored 32 runs, and her partnership with Alyssa Healy put the Indian team on the back foot.

Healy went on to smash an outstanding century as India had to struggle for more success during the match. Talking about Mooney, the senior batter headed into the match on the back of a memorable century in Australia's previous fixture against Pakistan.

Talking about the ongoing match, India posted a challenging total of 330 after being put into bat first. They were bowled out in 48.5 overs. Smriti Mandhana produced another batting masterclass as she played a fiery knock of 88 runs in just 66 balls on the back of nine fours and three sixes, smashing multiple records during her stay at the crease. Pratika Rawal also made a crucial contribution of 75 runs in 96 balls, hitting 10 fours and a six.

For Australia, Annabel Sutherland was the pick of the bowlers as she picked up a brilliant five-wicket haul, whereas Sophie Molineux took three wickets.
