IND-W vs NZ-W Women's World Cup 2025: India's star opener Pratika Rawal has created history as she has become the joint fastest batter to have scored 1000 runs in this format. She leveled ex-Australian batter Lindsay Reeler's record.
She just needed to score 12 runs to achieve the milestone of scoring 1000 runs, and also surpassed Deepti Sharma's record and became the fastest Indian to reach the milestone.
After scoring 18 runs in their last group stage match against England, she could have achieved this in 22 innings and might have broken Reeler's record in 23 innings. But she got out after scoring six runs off 14 balls as she tried to play a short and wide ball.
