IND-W vs SA-W Women's World Cup 2025 Final: India women's skipper Harmanpreet Kaur recently got a new tattoo after leading the side to their maiden ICC women’s World Cup 2025 title. Her tattoo consists of the World Cup trophy and the numbers 2025 and 52, which show the year and the margin by which they have won the final.
“Forever etched in my skin and my heart. Waited for you since Day 1, and now I will see you every morning and be grateful," she had written this as the caption of the photo.

Realising Her Childhood Dream
Her life's only dream was fulfilled on Sunday after she had won the Women's World Cup trophy and helped the team win the match by 52 runs against South Africa.
Post winning the title, the Indian skipper had a brilliant message for the youngsters and said, “Never stop dreaming. You never know where your destiny will take you."
The BCCI had shared a video, where Harmanpreet was seen talking about how her career began in her childhood, where she used to play with her father's bat, which was huge for her at that time. “Ever since I started understanding likes and dislikes as a kid, I’ve always had a bat in my hand. I still remember we used to play with a bat from my dad’s kit bag. The bat was very big," Harmanpreet was heard as saying.
“One day, my dad cut an old bat of his to make it smaller for me. We used to play with it. Whenever we watched a match on TV, or saw India play, or watched the World Cup, I used to think, I need an opportunity like this. At that time, I didn’t even know about women’s cricket," she added.

After almost 20 years, the India skipper became emotional and expressed her gratitude post the summit clash and said, “Personally, it’s a very emotional moment because it was my dream since childhood. Ever since I started playing, it has been my dream to win the World Cup one day. If I get an opportunity to lead my team, I don’t want to miss this opportunity,".
“So, I said all these things from the bottom of my heart. And God heard everything one by one. It’s like magic. I don’t understand how suddenly everything fell into place. Everything kept happening one by one. Finally, we are world champions. I am feeling very relaxed, very humble, so grateful to God for giving us this team, which we have been dreaming of for so many years, and we are living this moment," she concluded.
