New Delhi | Jagran Sports Desk: Team India skipper Virat Kohli, opening batsman Rohit Sharma end the year as top two ranked ODI players in ICC rankings while pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah continues to be on top of the ICC bowlers ranking despite not playing during the most of the season due to an injury. 
 
Both the above batsmen played instrumental knocks to help India seal the three-match ODI series against West Indies 2-1. Rohit scored a quick-fire 63 runs while Virat Kohli slammed 85 runs to help India reach closer to the victory line. Ravindra Jadeja and Shardul Thakur did the rest of the job. 
 
The duo also features in T20I rankings at No.9 and No.10 respectively. Captain Kohli, in particular, also tops the Test batsmen rankings.
 
Rohit Sharma, who was named Man of the Series has scored a total of 2442 runs across all formats in 2019 going past skipper Virat. The 32-year-old had also broke Sanath Jayasuriya's 22-year-old record on Sunday. 
 
 
In the rankings table, Virat Kohli is leading with 887 points while Rohit Sharma was placed second with 873 points. 
 
Meanwhile, West Indies batsman Shai Hope has broken into the top ten of ICC Men's ODI player rankings. He gained five places to reach the ninth spot with 782 points. The right-handed batsman scored 222 runs in three-match ODI series, including a ton in the ODI opener in Chennai. 
 
Shimron Hetmyer and Nicholas Pooran have also moved up in the batting rankings. Pooran jumped 35 places to 104th while Hetmyer moved six places to 19th spot.  
 
Lokesh Rahul and Shreyas Iyer also made notable gains. Rahul's 185 runs in the series lifted him 17 places to 71st spot while Iyer's 130 runs moved him to 81st from 104th spot. Rahul, in particular, also features on 6th spot in T20I rankings.
 
Carribean bowler Sheldon Cottrell moved 35 places to 30th spot in the bowlers ranking. Jasprit Bumrah remained on the top spot with 785 points in the bowlers' rankings.
