KKR Retained Players IPL 2026: Post winning their third title in Shreyas Iyer's captaincy, KKR began the 18th season to become only the third in IPL to win consecutive titles, apart from MI and CSK.
But they had a forgetful outing as they lost to IPL 2025 winners RCB by seven wickets as they chased the target of 175 runs with four overs remaining.
The Ajinkya Rahane-led side had released Venkatesh Iyer in the auction, failed to win consecutive games, and finished at the eighth position in the points table with 12 points, and a few of their matches also ended in washouts.
