Lucknow Super Giants Retained Players IPL 2026: They did make some key changes to their team, as well as the skipper, but they couldn't qualify for the playoffs. Rishabh Pant had replaced KL Rahul, whereas Zaheer Khan was their mentor. They finished in seventh position in the points table and couldn't improve their results much.

They had roped in Rishabh Pant for a whopping amount of Rs 27 crore, making him the most expensive player in the league’s history. They also made some other key acquisitions in the form of Aiden Markram, David Miller, Mitchell Marsh, Avesh Khan, and Akash Deep. But none of these big changes helped them win their elusive IPL title last season.

The side lost back-to-back matches towards the backend of the league stage, which cost them a place in the knockouts. LSG will look to bounce back in the upcoming season as they aim to make some crucial changes to the squad ahead of the auction.
