An interesting moment was captured in the Big Bash League 2024-2025 match during the Melbourne Derby at the Docklands Stadium when Melbourne Stars captain Marcus Stoinis got out in a fascinating style that even caught the attention of tennis legend Novak Djokovic.

Djokovic was also watching the contest at that time and was left astonished by the amazing nature of Stoinis' wicket, which added to the electric atmosphere of the derby.

In a thrilling moment during the Melbourne Derby, Tom Rogers threw a full-length ball into the sweet zone of Melbourne Stars captain Marcus Stoinis. Stoinis seized the moment by delivering a thundering stroke and sent the ball soaring to long-off with great power.

The ball soared high into the air, nearly grazing the roof of the stadium and then finally came back to the ground to be caught by Kane Richardson at long-on to conclude Stoinis' fine innings.

Meanwhile, tennis legend Novak Djokovic, who was in attendance, watched this whole scene in awe and wonder.

The Stars fought but could not hold against Renegade's consistently unrelentingly assaulting attack. Melbourne Stars captain Marcus Stoinis fell, leaving his team in shambles at 5/55. 

Meanwhile, Glenn Maxwell has amazed everyone yet again with splendid willow work for Melbourne Stars in a must-win match. The 34-year-old unleashed a whirlwind onslaught on the opposition, slamming 10 humongous sixes, and lighting up the scoreboard with 90 runs from just 52 balls.
