PAK vs ZIM T20I Tri-Series: Pakistan had put up a brilliant all-round performance and defeated Zimbabwe by 69 runs, and have qualified for the summit clash of the ongoing tri-series, on the back of Sahibzada Farhan, Babar Azam, and Usman Tariq's heroics.

Farhan and Babar gave the host a flying start, whereas Tariq's hat-trick helped them maintain their dominance. After staying unbeaten in all their matches and being on a five-match winning streak in the shortest format, they have now qualified for the summit clash.

While batting first, openers Babar and Farhan gave the team the much-needed start. Farhan maintained his sublime form and brought up his fifty off 35 balls and got out after scoring a match-winning knock of 63 runs off 41 balls.

Babar too brought up his fifty off 42 balls and got out after scoring 74 runs off 52 balls, in which he had hit seven fours and two sixes. They had stitched a partnership of 103 runs for the second wicket and had set the foundation for the win.

Fakhar Zaman provided a late surge and helped the team post a mammoth target of 195/5. He had three sixes and one four and had scored 25 runs in the last over by staying unbeaten at 27 runs.

The visitors' chase never really got going as Pakistan took wickets at regular intervals. Naseem Shah and Mohammad Wasim dismissed the openers within two overs. Usman Tariq registered match-winning figures of 4/18, which also includes a hat-trick, which rattled Zimbabwe's middle and lower order and left them reeling at 60/7 within 10 overs.
