Ranji Trophy 2025: Rinku Singh had scored a brilliant knock of 176 runs off 248 balls while playing for Uttar Pradesh and helped them take a first-innings lead against Tamil Nadu in their Ranji Trophy match in Coimbatore on Wednesday. He came in to bat at No.5 position and he had scored 98 runs on day 2, and he didn't just bring up his 9th ton in this format but also helped the team score three points.
In his knock, Rinku, who has played for India in the shortest format, had hit 17 fours and six sixes and had stitched a partnership of 53 runs for the seventh wicket with Shivam Sharma and then had built a partnership of 59 runs for the eighth wicket with Kartik Yadav and had stitched a partnership of 33 runs for the ninth wicket with Aaqib Khan.
P Vidyuth took Rinku's wicket in the 143rd over. As he tried to go big, Sonu Yadav took his catch. After his wicket, Aaqib, along with Kunal Tyagi, helped the team bounce back by scoring five more runs than TN's first innings total.

P Vidyuth was the pick among the bowlers as he had registered figures of 4/73, whereas R Sai Kishore took three wickets.
If this match ends in a tie, then whichever team took the first innings lead will get three points, and the other team will get just one point.
