Royal Challengers Bengaluru will be up against Gujarat Titans in match 52 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday, May 4.
Both the teams faced off each other in their previous match where RCB emerged victorious by nine wickets.
The match at the Narendra Modi Stadium turned out to be a high-scoring contest which RCB won by nine wickets as they chased down the 201-run target in just 16 overs.
Will Jacks smashed a remarkable century, remaining unbeaten on 100 off just 41 balls on the back of five fours and 10 sixes.
He hit Rashid Khan for four sixes in the 16th over to take his team over the line whereas Virat Kohli also played a match-winning innings of 70 runs in 44 balls.
This season has been a disappointing one for both Gujarat Titans and RCB and they are struggling in the bottom half of the standings.
While RCB still have a chance to make it to the playoffs despite being at the bottom of the table with just three wins and six points after 10 matches, GT will be looking to return to form and keep themselves alive in the tournament.
The Faf du Plessis-led side need to win all of their remaining four matches to stand a realistic chance to end up in the top four with 14 points
