RCB vs PBKS IPL 2025: Punjab Kings' star opener Prabsimran Singh had scored just nine runs off six balls and that's when he tried to go big during Josh Hazlewood's over while chasing but Romario Shepherd had dropped an easy catch and that gave Prabsimran Singh a lifeline. This was one of the easiest catches but Shepherd failed to grab it with both hands.

Josh Hazlewood, who is the Bengaluru-based franchise's one of the most successful bowler in this season, came back into the attack after Bhuvaneshwar Kumar had given away 13 runs during his first over and Yash Dayal conceded 10 runs during his second over.
Punjab Kings restrict RCB to 190/9
The Rajat Patidar-led side somehow posted a target of 190/9 during the summit clash against PBKS and couldn't pile pressure on the opponent on a batting-friendly pitch.
They were not only conservative with their approach during the summit clash but luck also didn't favor them as they were trying to win their maiden title all of the batters were seen struggling after having a flying start.
Even star batter Virat Kohli couldn't do much as he had scored just 43 runs, he was trying to anchor the innings as he had done but was dismissed cheaply.
Kohli had smashed three fours, of these three two came after the ninth over and he thus scored 43 runs off 35 balls at a strike rate of 122.85.
The Bengaluru-based franchise's run flow was stopped after the powerplay as they were 55/1, where the batters avoided going big and had scored just 42 runs between 6-11 overs.
Opener Phil Salt had smashed a six and four during the first over and in the next over he mistimed a shot and the ball went up in the air.
PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer, who was standing at mid-on ran backward and took a stunning catch and helped Kyle Jamieson give the team the much-needed breakthrough.
Salt's dismissal did leave a huge impact on RCB's batting lineup as none of the batters like Mayank Agarwal, Rajat Patidar, and Liam Livingstone failed to convert their starts.
Jamieson was seen struggling to bowl the right lengths and his variations gave the batters a hard time but also took three wickets and piled pressure back on RCB.
