RCB vs PBKS IPL 2025 Final: The pressure of the summit clash has also affected one of the most experienced players of all time, during the toss as both Ravi Shastri and Royal Challengers Bengaluru skipper Rajat Patidar were seen committing a few errors.

PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer had won the toss and chose to bowl first. And just when the captains' interviews got over, Shastri reckoned that the Punjab-based franchise would be batting first and was also seen doing a full forward gesture. He then acknowledged that he had committed a mistake and tried to rectify it.

Shastri had also enquired Patidar about the pitch conditions and Patidar replied that he couldn't hear him properly due to noise created by the crowd and instead replied by talking about the playing team's playing XI.

Since everyone knows that Shastri loves to drink, fans on social media questioned whether he was drunk at the time of the toss.

Here's how fans reacted on social media:

“We’re going to bowl. Only want to give positive signs to my mind and body. It’s an amazing day. The crowd is electrifying. All we have to do is come here and cherish. Boys are in brilliant shape and mindset. All we spoke about in the team meeting is the more calm you are, the better. Nerves are fine. I won’t say it’s just like another game. It’s the final and we’re going to play like a final. Tremendous feeling just thinking about lifting the trophy. Same team," Shreyas Iyer was heard at the time of the toss.

“We were also going to bowl. The pitch looks hard, will try to get a good score and put them under pressure. Till now we’ve played good cricket. It’s just another game for us. It’s a big stage but as I said it’s just another away game for us. Same team. The pitch is looking good. I think it’s a flat track, a mix of red and black soil" Patidar added.
