SA20: In a dazzling display of athleticism, Faf du Plessis of the Johannesburg Super Kings left onlookers in awe with a stunning catch during the SA20 match against MI Cape Town at Wanderers Stadium on Saturday, January 13.

The jaw-dropping moment unfolded when Dewald Brevis attempted a slog off Lizaad Williams' delivery, resulting in a mis-hit that sent the ball soaring over mid-off. Initially destined to land in no man's land, du Plessis defied expectations. With impressive agility, du Plessis sprinted back, fully lunging to snatch the ball with one hand like a magician.

Despite du Plessis's brilliance, MI Cape Town dominated the game, posting a total of 243 runs after opting to bat first. Openers Rassie van der Dussen (104) and Ryan Rickleton (98) spearheaded their innings with a commanding opening partnership, contributing 200 runs. Brevis, aiming to continue the onslaught, saw his innings cut short at just 5 runs due to du Plessis's exceptional catch.
