IPL 2025: Despite having their ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season hanging by a thread, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) management has sent their cricketers and support staff on a vacation to the Maldives for a quick retreat.
On Sunday, SRH posted a 35-second video on their social media account, where the players can be seen relishing their break in the Maldives.
Hyderabad have managed to keep their playoff hopes alive with three victories to stand eighth in the points table after 9 games.
After SRH's win over Chennai Super Kings on Friday, management had arranged the trip.

Meanwhile, Hyderabad are scheduled to play against Gujarat Titans on May 2 in Ahmedabad at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
Last year's runners-up are currently languishing at the eighth spot with just three wins in nine matches. And to make their place in the playoffs, the Pat Cummins' side will have to win their five games consecutively without any hiccups.
Moreover, Sunrisers Hyderabad coach Daniel Vettori recently talked about the batting line-up and matching the right partner with Kamindu Mendis in the mix served the team.
SRH ended their winless streak against Chennai Super Kings at Chepauk when they defeated the hosts by five wickets here on Friday, scoring 155 for five in 18.4 overs after CSK were bowled out for 154.
Vettori admitted SRH have not done well on slow and tricky surfaces so far in this IPL which saw them lose to Mumbai Indians in an away game and two matches at home in Uppal.
"No, we haven't (done well on those pitches). We've encountered them away and we've encountered them at home, so it hasn't quite matched up with our expectations around the surfaces. But the onus is on us to adapt and understand what's required," Vettori told the media after the match.
