Such a statement reflects a sense of comfort among teammates. Tilak sharpened the exchange by asking, "Pehle ye batao 3 no ja raha hu ya nahi mai?" (First, tell me if I’ll bat at No. 3 or not).
Suryakumar responded, "Pata nahi, ab IPL me mai to nahi hu captain, I think tujhe Hardik se puchhna padhega" (I don’t know. I’m no longer the captain in the IPL; you’ll have to ask Hardik).
Their conversation about batting positions holds significance. Under Suryakumar's T20I team leadership, Tilak had previously asked to bat at No. 3 in a 2024 series against South Africa.
