Florida Weather Report

The recent updates haven't been good from Florida when it comes to weather conditions as the weekend is all set to witness rain on all three match days.

According to media reports from the USA, the southern part of Florida is witnessing a rare flash flood emergency.

According to the National Weather Service, all of South Florida is under a Flood Watch through Friday evening.

According to a report in The Associated Press, “Wednesday’s downpours and subsequent flooding blocked roads, floated vehicles and delayed the Florida Panthers on their way to Stanley Cup games in Canada against the Edmonton Oilers… Numerous roads were flooded and impassable for vehicles. On major artery Interstate 95 in Broward County, southbound traffic was being diverted around a flooded section and contractors were on their way to pump the drainage system.”

How rain in Florida could knock Pakistan out of T20 World Cup 2024?

India already have qualified for the Super 8 stage from Group and their recent win over the USA with 10 balls to spare which means the net run rates will not be coming into play to decide the second team.

USA are second with two wins and four points in three matches, ahead of the third-placed Pakistan.

However, Pakistan have a net run rate of 0.191 while the USA have 0.127). They can qualify simply by beating Ireland and watching the USA lose to them.

On the other hand, the USA need just one point to qualify which means if their match against Ireland gets washed out then they will go through.

Similarly, if the Pakistan game gets washed out and Pakistan gain just one point, the USA will qualify.
