Temperature In Delhi, CSK vs RR: MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Sanju Samson's Rajasthan Royals (RR) will take on each other in a clash of pride at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Tuesday and take steps towards an improved next season.

Having knocked out of the playoffs race, the Super Kings are currently languishing at the bottom of the table with six points, while the Royals found themselves reeling at just three wins from 13 games.

Chennai will head into the match with confidence as they are coming with a two-wicket win over the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) earlier this month at the Eden Gardens. Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals suffered a 10-run loss to Punjab Kings in their last outing.

The game at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Tuesday will mark the homecoming of MS Dhoni after more than two years, with the retirement rumours flying high of the legendary batter.

The head-to-head record between CSK and RR stands at 16-14 in favour of MS Dhoni's team, based on 30 meetings since 2008. While CSK have a slight overall edge, RR have been prevailing in recent encounters, triumphing five of the last six games, with the sides evenly divided at neutral venues with a 3-3 record.
