Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and his wife, Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma, visited Ayodhya with their family on Sunday, offering prayer at both the Ram Temple and the Hanuman Garhi Temple.
Hanumangarhi Temple Mahant Sanjay Das confirmed that the celebrity couple came to the temple this morning before proceeding to the Ram Temple, as per PTI.
A video of the couple at the temple has been making rounds online, in which the star pair can be seen dressed simple and keeping a low profile. Virat was sporting an off-white kurta, while Anushka wore a lavender suit.
The cricketer and actress avoided interaction with the media.

Their quiet, religious outing comes days after Kohli called curtains on his glorious 14 years of Test cricket career that shaped his legacy.
The visit is part of the recent spiritual spree of the couple, which has visited Mathura at least twice recently.
Recently the pair Vrindavan's Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj Ashram had a spiritual discourse with Premanand Ji Maharaj. Upon their arrival, Shri Hit Premanand Govind Sharan Ji Maharaj asked, “Prasanna ho?" Virat replied, “Ji, abhi thik hain," to which Maharaj Ji gently replied, “You should stay well."
Meanwhile, Kohli recently declared his retirement from Test cricket after playing in the format for 14 years on 12 May. On the other, Anushka was last seen in a cameo appearance in the 2022 film Qala.
Currently, Kohli is busy with his commitment to the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, playing for the Royal Challengers Bangaluru (RCB).
